I was born and raised in Rio Grande City. I graduated from Rio Grande City High School, second in my class, in 2002. I continued my studies and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology and Minor in Chemistry in 2006 from the University of Texas- Pan American. Then, I received my Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2008. I have worked in Pediatrics for over 10 years and at The Pediatric Care Center since it’s opening. I am happily married to a man that also grew up in Starr County. I am passionate about my work and my community. I love watching our patients and families grow.
